Did you know that Netgalley has advance reader copies for manga? Well I just found out this year. For someone who voraciously consumes manga, and manhwa finding out that I have access to more on NetGalley is a huge plus. Thank you Kodansha Comics for making ARCs available to book reviewers!!

That said, thank you very much to NetGalley for providing me with an Advance Reader Copy to review.

Pass the Monster Meat Vol 1 kicks off well. I love it when a story jumps right into the story rather than work on establishing expositions.

Immediately we're introduced to an adorably quirky female lead, Melphiera, and soon after the male lead, Duke Galbraith. The interactions between them are cute and funny. I'm excited to see how their relationship grows throughout the story.

I love the passion that Melphiera has for monster meat. The creative ways she's able to use the monster meat and cook with it reminds me of Dungeon Meshi. As a foodie, I enjoy discovering all the fun dishes Melphiera can make with the monsters of her world. I found this volume to be such a light-hearted read and I'm super excited to follow Melphiera and Duke Galbraith on their journey of culinary monster recipes. I totally recommend this to anyone who is looking for a new cute series to start.
