Getting back into things
Hello!
I gotta say it can be embarrassing updating something after a long haitus. Sometimes I think it's better just to start fresh. However, I remember starting this blog as a way to have a record of things I did or thought throughout time, so keeping what I had in the past is just a way to honour that intention.
To sum up 2024, March is when I went to Japan for my friend's wedding, and soon after I came back I flew to LA for Ado's first international tour. I didn't think I was that big of an Ado fan, but her concert was AMAZING. I am really happy that I had went. Hearing her live is just a whole new experience. And it was this trip that I got closer to two of my friends. I was only there with them for 14 hours, but I guess a lot happens during then.
July I started streaming on Twitch. I had made some good friends who are streamers that kinda encouraged me to start. I had attempted to stream years ago during the pandemic, but got too nervous / shy to keep going. This attempt is a lot better because I made friends who have done it for so long so they're able to help me with any questions or collab with me during times where I don't know what to stream.
Aug. 2024, I went to Texas to watch flow and to hang out with my friends. We got Texas bbq, and I memed using rice paper and putting the bbq into a salad roll. Turns out that was pretty delicious and it's something I'll consider doing more often. To be honest though, 2024 was my rice paper phase.
Sept. 2024, I made affliate thanks to all of my friends' help and support. It's really nice to be able to have some form of income from it. I went on a long trip to Japan with my childhood friends. I had a great time looking back on it, but during it was kinda tricky. While I had fun, I felt a lot of pressure to make their trip the best it could be due to some trauma of me fucking it up last time with one of them. I still feel that guilt despite us working through it. Perhaps this is something I'll bring up in therapy one day.
To sum up the start of 2025, it was pretty rocky at first. The first 3 months were riddled with stress. However, I was able to travel a bit still.
Feb. 2025, I went to London for the long weekend with Link and my friend. It was a nice time. I pushed myself to explore more of the city. And when I did, I realized I really like it. We played darts, I went to a cafe, and we got some good food. It was a nice trip. I even got a cute hat for Goober.

March 2025, I made the decision to step back from a few commitments so that I could take better care of myself.
In early May, I flew over to my home city for an anime convention. That was a fun time. Then in late May to mid June, I had a 3 week long vacation. We went to Namibia for 2 weeks, then 1 week in Japan for me to decompress from the family vacation.
July was a lot of hangouts with my friends because I had missed them so much during my vacation.
And here we are in Aug. The first two weeks of Aug was more anime conventions and the rest of the month is attempting to stream more while resting from all of the events I had to volunteer at.
Here's hoping I keep this blog a bit more updated. I found this reflection post to be kinda nice, but also a bit sad since so much has happened and a lot of details were glossed over. Maybe posting more regularly will help me look back on life more positively.
Until next time! Have a lovely morning, afternoon, or evening whereever you are.
